Parking at The Restaurant School

Free parking is available in the lot on the corner of 41st and Walnut Street. This is a very small lot (about 8 parking spots) and if it is full, you can proceed west on Walnut street to the main building of the restaurant school, located at 4207 Walnut Street. The parking lot will be on your right (shown in the second picture below). Free on-street parking is also available on 41st street. The cooking demonstration will be held at 4100 Walnut Street.

From the PA Turnpike Heading East

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (76) to Exit 326 - Valley Forge (formerly Exit 24). Take I-76 east (Schuylkill Expressway). As you head east on I-76, stay to your right approaching Center City Philadelphia. Do not take the I-676 east exit to Center City. Stay on I-76.
Take exit 346B toward University Ave. Continue straight onto S 34th St.
Turn left at S University Ave.
Turn left at Walnut St.
Go four blocks. The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College is on the right at 4207 Walnut Street. The parking lot is adjacent to the college.

From the PA Turnpike or The Northeast Extension

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 333, I-476 south.
Take I-476 to I-76 east. Then follow the directions above, starting with the second bullet.

From I-95 Heading South

Take I-95 south to the Central Philadelphia exit, I-676 west.
Take I-676 west to I-76 east, the Schuylkill Expressway, heading toward the airport.
Then follow the first set of directions above, starting with the second bullet.

From I-95 Heading North

Take I-95 north to I-76 west, heading toward Central Philadelphia.
Take I-76 west Take exit 346B for University Ave. toward Grays Ferry Ave.
Merge onto S 34th St. Continue onto S University Ave.
Turn left at Walnut St.
Go four blocks. The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College is on the right at 4207 Walnut Street. The parking lot is adjacent to the college.

From the Ben Franklin Bridge

After crossing the bridge, take I-676 west to I-76 east, the Schuylkill Expressway, heading toward the Philadelphia International Airport.
Then follow the first set of directions, starting with the second bullet.

From the Walt Whitman Bridge

After passing through the bridge’s toll booth, go straight onto I-76 west, the Schuylkill Expressway.
Take I-76 west Take exit 346B for University Ave. toward Grays Ferry Ave.
Merge onto S 34th St. Continue onto S University Ave.
Turn left at Walnut St.
