Fried Corn Tortilla Chips

If you worry about what's in the chips you eat, try making your own. It's easy and you control the oil and salt. It's a win-win.

1 package corn tortillas
1 quart avocado oil for frying
sea salt (optional)

Heat oil over low heat to ensure it gets hot enough to fry without resulting in oily chips. When the oil is hot, cut the tortillas into 8 wedges per tortilla. Fry til golden. Transfer to paper towels and dust lightly with sea salt. Serve immediately.

Makes 8-10 servings.
